If you are looking for an indestructible reinforcement plate kit to strengthen the upper hinges of your car's rear doors, you've come to the right place. The indicated van/minivan models, even new and well-maintained, are often subject to rapid degradation of the rear door hinges.

The condition of the hinges deteriorates quickly due to repeated friction. Consequently, with each opening or closing of the door, the very thin sheet metal on which the hinges are mounted begins to crack and break. Installing the proposed reinforcement plates will strengthen and stiffen the vulnerable area, preventing new cracks in the sheet metal!! The repair involves installing the reinforcement plate between the sheet metal of the door and the hinge in question, using two screws.

OUR REINFORCEMENT PLATES FOR UPPER REAR DOOR HINGES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE FOLLOWING CAR MODELS. THE KIT CONSISTS OF 2 REINFORCEMENT PLATES (1 LEFT + 1 RIGHT). To install our kit, you do not need to go through a garage. If you wish to do it yourself, you will need a reinforcement plate kit, a riveter, 20 rivets of 5 mm diameter, a drill, a 5 mm drill bit, a set of wrenches, silicone lubricant, and possibly a windshield glue blob. Installation time: approximately 1 to 2 hours.

The proposed reinforcement plates can be installed on all types of upper rear door hinges in the models indicated above!! (You buy exactly what you see in the images - real photo). The plates can be installed in two ways. 1 The first method involves applying the plate to the vulnerable area of the door (each plate is appropriately drilled to facilitate the repair) and drilling ten holes of 5 mm diameter in the sheet metal of the door. Then, apply silicone lubricant to the work area before moving on to the final step, which is installing the 5 mm rivets.

2 The second method involves gluing the plate to the vulnerable area of the door using windshield glue; this method is preferred if, for example, your car is new and, for warranty reasons covering your car, you do not wish to drill holes in the sheet metal, etc. To finish the job, you just need to adjust the positioning of the hinges and the stops.
